It
was reported yesterday that Leicester City have made their striker Chris Wood
available for loan. As the Loan Window is currently open, this is the type of
player that we should be looking to bring to the club.
Wood
was pivotal in helping Leicester reach promotion to the Premier League, but
since then hasn’t featured much. In that particular season he scored a decent
13 goals. We were actually interested in signing him whilst Neil Warnock was in
charge, but couldn’t provide the funds.
Big
in stature, useful with his feet and rarely will you see him miss a decent
chance; Wood could be a great addition to this rejuvenated Leeds side and also could excel in the same roll as Morison.
We
know how well Morison is currently playing his roll but more firepower can’t
be bad?
