Although we've been linked with Mills and Doyle in preceding weeks there was absolutely no mention of a loan deal for Mills, so if i've got it correct, the Daily Mail is the origin of this announcment. Going by the infamous reputation of the company as a whole I have developed a lackluster opinion of this article, and really, everything they publish.
If we end up agreeing a loan deal for Mills, I would be filled indefinitely with disappointment because it would just affirm that we have no money whatsoever. But on the other hand, I would be delighted to secure his signiture and to have him in a Leeds shirt next season as I rate him as one of the better centre-halves in the divison, also meaning, he's better than any of our current centre-backs.
As for Kevin Doyle. Kevin is a player who, alike Matt Mills, has previously worked under Brian McDermott which is a great structure for success if you ask me. But I have to admit that I wouldn't exactly be ecstatic about him signing, only because he's not my type of player and I'm also starting to wonder at how many forwards are on the docket, especially with the Noel Hunt deal professedly all but done. Personally, I think that Doyle is a more publicised figure of Andy Keogh, who we had at the club two seasons ago, and anyday, and I mean anyday, I would take an Andy Keogh over a Kevin Doyle!
