When I read this, the first thing that came to my head was positivity and optimism, because of the fact that us Leeds fans had a horror last season watching Old Colin's Hoofball, this was one of the reasons last season was so negative, fans didn't want to pay Bates' ticket prices to watch this brand of football. When Warnock spoke it was like an old man telling you the same boring story over and over, but with Brian McDermott he knows what the fans want and fills you with confidence and optimism.
After seeing Leeds United sign young prospect Luke Murphy for a fee of £1 million every Leeds fan is filled with excitement, this summer is the most positive from what I can remember and I am pretty sure we can hold on to Sam Byram, Tom Lees and Ross McCormack. Ross stated yesterday that he wants to stay at Leeds and maybe something could happen with his contract.
The squad looks really fit this summer and if they can keep it up through the course of pre-season and Brian McDermott signs the rest of his targets, it looks like we could be going into the new season with a very good chance of a high league finish!
Marching On Together...
