Was the Slovenia tour a success?

This summer we had our pre-season tour in Slovenia, Brian McDermott had been before with previous club Reading.

Leeds United was back in Europe, where the referees love us and were Leeds United once ruled. This was only pre-season but I think its great to go abroad for that length of time, with the team staying together and bonding. You can say that pre-season is mostly about the fitness and it is but if you have a strong team bond you can go places, if you don't believe me look at Borussia Dortmund!

It looks like the three new signings in, Matt Smith, Luke Murphy and Noel Hunt have fitted in nicely, the Slovenia tour has played a big part in this and this is what every footballer wants when he moves to a new club. If you are on twitter you can see how great the three new signings are getting on.

This is only a short article giving you my thoughts on our tour in Slovenia, now that the team is back we can hopefully capture a few more of Brian McDermott's targets!

Give me your thoughts in the comments section:
