The planned three year tenure for Ken Bates to be president of the club has been brought to an end by new owners GFH Tonight!

This has probably been the best news that has came out of the club in years. When news broke on social media site Twitter, the Leeds Fans were sent into raptures, with "Ken Bates" trending worldwide and "BatesOut" trending in Leeds. 

New owners GFH have made a massive statement, ending Ken Bates' 8 year tenure at the club. This should bring back alot of Leeds fans whom never wanted to be involved with the club whilst Bates was involved. Club Managing Director, David Haigh also got in contact with The Leeds United Supporters Trust, this is brilliant news aswell because GFH had stated that they want to interact with the fans and the community. Ken Bates certainly never interacted with the fans, it was like we weren't part of our club. He also treated us like 'Morons' this being Bates' definition of Leeds fans, and remember back when he said that we should be banned from every ground in England? 

I think its fair to say that the cancer is now out of out club, no more lies. The fans have won and now its time to be United! These significant changes could be a new beginning for our football club and I will be backing our new owners, manager and players to the hill.

Well done GFH! We will be truely Marching on Together now!
