Casper Sloth can’t understand why he hasn’t had a look in at
Leeds since Redfearn has taken charge; he’s failed to start in five consecutive
matches with his only appearance coming from the bench.
The Danish midfielder said, “I am fit to play and I even
wonder a bit about why, from one day to the next, I am completely out”.
Clearly the Dane feels he should be playing but speaking to
the press about it doesn’t help matters. It should be a topic of conversation
with Neil Redfearn, and Neil Redfearn only.
Based on merit – in particular performance level – Casper Sloth
doesn’t deserve his place in the team, and there’s no way he’ll get in ahead of
Adryan at the moment.
It’s clear that he has talent, he’s very good on the ball
and he can make the vital passes for the strikers but when he got his chance he
didn’t do enough for me.
There’ll be a time where Sloth is needed and he needs to be
ready; he needs to show professionalism in training and keep his head down and keep
working hard.
I hate when players speak to the press about being excluded
from the team, especially as it’s only been five games, and I’m sure Neil
Redfearn will not me happy about this.
Hmmm..
