What kind of reception will Ross McCormack receive?

This Saturday, Fulham will visit Elland Road for the first time since 2003 and they are bringing along a familiar face to the ground. Ross McCormack, the man who you could say single handedly saved us from being relegation candidates last season will be making his return to our famous old ground.

Fulham signed Ross for a fee in the region of £11Million in the summer and he has gone on and scored 5 goals so far this season for the London club.

A Leeds fan on Twitter (@marshyleeds) said he had a chat with a Fulham press officer, who said Ross McCormack is expecting a very warm welcome on Saturday.

McCormack had a cult following at his time here and I think he deserves a good reception, but you never know with the Leeds fans. I believe Ross genuinely cared for the club and still does but what annoyed me was his behaviour towards the end of his time here on Twitter.

Some Leeds fans think he went for the money and he should've stayed (as he always said he would) but he thought the club owner, Cellino wasn't going to be taking the club forward. Besides can you argue with the money we got for him?

  1. He served us well, show him some respect when he comes back...he showed us lots in his time here. I think it would be a slur on us as fans if he gets a bad reception. Ps if he scores against us ignore all before....give him s**t :)

  3. he didn't love Leeds, he loved the money, that's why he was always on about getting his contract (new contract) extended.

BM's bummchum, when BM got sacked, McContract wanted out, both times and once in between.
