Will Leeds United get wings and fly to the Promised Land?

Red Bull fan David Haigh?
Earlier today the Yorkshire Evening Post stated that mega-rich energy drinks company, Red Bull, are in talks with Leeds United over a sponsorship deal.

As stated in the YEP's report earlier today, if this deal comes to an agreement it will see the Red Bull logo printed on the Leeds United shirt, but that's not all, there is much bigger things that could happen, like the name of our stadium being changed or even the club's name!

Red Bull have had sponsorship and takeover deals with numerous clubs, one of the more recognisable being FC Salzburg. When Red Bull took them over they changed the whole scene of the club, changing the clubs name to FC Red Bull Salzburg and changing the club's famous and beloved colours Purple and White to Red Bull corporate colours Red and Blue. Due to this, a majority of Leeds fans think that this will happen to us.

I agree with the Red Bull deal but I wouldn't go any further than the stadium name being changed, I know some leeds fans won't be happy with me saying this, but we will all still know the stadium as Elland Road no matter what. If Red Bull was to be imprinted into our clubs name it would be a whole different story, that would be ruining our clubs culture and history and I hope that it wouldn't go down well with any Leeds United fan.

If GFH can pull this off and the deal works in our favour, it could be a significant change for our club and as their motto goes, "Red Bull gives you wings", we could use those very wings to get back to the Promised Land!
