Dirty Mess at Dirty Leeds

Leeds are in one hell of a state, according to Mr Cellino Leeds (GFH) "wouldn't even pay for washing powder." Now that sounds a little harsh, actually scrap that, it's bang on.

Think of what's been going on at Leeds whilst this forever-ending takeover saga has lingered. Who was paying the wages? Who was paying off debts? Yes, Massimo Cellino. Not GFH. A man that didn't even own the club was keeping it running day-by-day. It's disgraceful for GFH not being able to pay players wages and for the football league to turn down Cellino is another decision I'm not too fond of.

I and probably most of the fans are genuinely concerned for the future of Leeds United. What happened to the 'sustainable success' GFH had planned? Did they ever, just that one time, realise they had nothing but pittance? I'm struggling to even get words out of my head with all this going on. At least under Bates we were safe, now look at us, we're losing up to 1 million pounds a month! When is this great club ever going to get what it deserves, it's been far too long and too many years have passed.

Massimo Cellino is a man who in my opinion is what Leeds need. He seems to mean real business in terms of buying the stadium back and for him to pay, off his own account, to a football club just to keep them going doesn't sound like a man who is a criminal.

I have to admit, when he announced himself on that horrible old transfer deadline day I absolutely hated him! So did everyone but then we realised, after McDermott was reinstated and he talked of his intentions and what he thought about Leeds, this guy really wanted the best for us. The King of Corn definitely has no problem with cash and his intentions and the way he applied himself to Leeds United, bearing in mind he wasn't even the owner was amazing. This man is not a criminal. I understand that what he done clashes with football league regulations but with the mess we are in and the uncertainty surrounding our immediate future and long-term, can those governing-body morons not just accept that avoiding import duty on a yacht has absolutely nothing to do with being a fit and proper or not fit and proper person to run a football club. Can they not see that the fans want him, the club needs him, they even had a letter begging them to approve of the deal by none other than GFH.

If Cellino can appeal successfully I would be ecstatic but at the minute even if he were to appeal it seems as if he'd fail. Just as things seem to improve and look good at Leeds the bombshell always drops. We're in a dirty old mess and if GFH can surprise us with a plan B I'm sure it will give us that 'sustainable success' they promised. In my dreams.

  1. This is absolutely crazy. What do the FA really want?. Would they prefer to see a football club go out of business, thrown to the dogs and all the ramifications that involves, rather than allow someone, probably no saint but with good intentions and the ability to invest in the game. Are the FA the bastions of a moral society? Who sits as judge and jury which allows the parasites and scum of the financial empires to rob and cheat the people of this country? Nobody. Who sits as judge and jury and decides to allow so called foreign investors to asset strip everything that's sacred to this country. Nobody. Massimo Cellino is a bloody saint compared to the filthy rich, devious and crooked heads of many industries in this country.
